Adorable Pets

The first destination for today was an exhibition by Toho studio, known for works like the original Godzilla or the Seven Samurai. The funny thing is that the Godzilla almost looks cute for today's standards. If he would just retract his teeth a tiny bit from the train carriage or building he's currently chewing, I'm sure he'd respond to the name Waffles. Training him not to step on buildings might take a bit longer though.

As a sheer coincidence, we actually went past Toho cinemas in Shibuya later during the day, to find Godzilla waiting for us on the roof.

After that just came a lot of walking. We made it to Shinjuku park before it closed this time, and got to join the stampede heading out of the park at 16:30, as opposed to running into it. The sunset into a rather hazy horizon and the visibility wasn't great as we watched from the 45th floor. But Shibuya stayed nice and warm as we simply patrolled the streets till it was almost midnight.

Some people call it uneventful, I call it relaxing. Eventful will hit me with a crowbar, the day after I get back, so I'm not keen on inviting him early.
