Australian Rainforests
Going from the south coast to the east coast of Australia took us through some rain forests, and that could mean only one thing. Rain. And lots of it. During one of short breaks while the skies caught their breath, we did manage to walk around briefly, but the day was unfortunately rather wet and uneventful.
We did however discover that Victoria has creeks for every occasion: Wombat Creek, Dinner Creek, Boulder Creek. We were starting to get curious enough to check whether you could actually find the things which the creeks were named after. That is, until we saw the sign 'Grubby Creek' and decided that we weren't the curious after all.
It's always interesting to watch a city from a café stand. In Morocco you can observe the difference in fashion between the locals and the tourists, especially the women. In China, they should hand out complimentary ear plugs to protect you from all the horns which were broken in the 'on' position. In Vietnam you could spend hours at a busy intersection, watching the movements of the swarms that are made up of hundreds of scooters. And Australia also has its own specialty. In Australia, you watch the road trains go by.
