Baden Baden

This morning we went by bus and funicular up the local mountain to get ourselves a proper view over the city. What we didn't expect was that the more entertaining thing up there would be watching people riding up the funicular with us, so that they could throw themselves back down the mountain.

Unfortunately things started going downhill from there. Going down the funicular again, down with the bus, and then the weather went downhill too when it started pouring rain. I thought all I had to do was bring the umbrella with me to Germany to ward off the bad and cold weather ...

At least the rain allowed us to get a nap in. Or maybe the rain was why I needed a nap. I seemed to be disproportionally tired today. I guess all the family socials were too much fun for my usual hermit self. And after the nap, the sun came out again for a relaxing evening stroll and nice sunset.
