City landscapes
It took us a surprisingly large amount of time to find a train today. Like 6 hours and 12km of walking. And even then, the train still had rubber wheels.
It is worth noting that this was on purpose as our hotel is quite close to Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Tower, so we simply went walking today. Even from the base of Tokyo Tower, the thing still looks like a model of the Eifel Tower, and yet it's actually taller, but the base is nowhere near as fat.
We also came past the embassy district where we walked past embassies such as the one of China. I'm sure China and Japan are on real friendly terms considering the long wooden poles the guards at the Chinese embassy were actively holding, and the riot shield they were presenting next to themselves. The area also seems to have its own little culture considering that for some of the signs they forgot to write them in Japanese and were only in English.
Once the city has been walked-in, the temperature took a turn for the colder and turned on the shower. At this point we headed for Odaiba, the same place that we concluded our last Japan trip. It does after all provide one of the nicest views of Tokyo.
And this is basically the end. Tomorrow we get to get up at 5, and sleep walk onto a plane. Another trip has come and gone. But somehow I still get to be rather sure that this won't be the last time I've seen Japan (as older entries of this blog might readily suggest).
P.S.: Dear luggage-throwers. Our suitcase is seriously bent from our trip here. Please be nice.
