Duck Adventures

Getting up at 5 in the morning isn't really my strong point, and it wasn't improved by the realisation that I had been awake for over four hours when I boarded my first flight. But at least they decided to keep us entertained.

For the three flights we had planned, she only offered us boarding passes for the first two, and only managed to get us boarding passes for the first flight. Our luggage however got a tag that would take it to the airport at the end of the second flight.

Arriving at our first transfer airport we discovered that our next flight was already due to be delayed a little over an hour. I guess the reason why we couldn't originally get boarding passes had something to do with them not even knowing whether they had a plane that would be able to take us to Sydney.

One exciting consequence of this is that the previous 1.5 hours we had to immigrate, get our luggage, transfer to domestic, check in, and board a plane, has been reduced to about 10 minutes. The words "never going to happen" come to mind.
