Gaining momentum home
Today we slowly start to make our way home. After getting the last few souveniers, and tried to store as much warmth as possible, we finally made our way to the airport.
Everything seemed simple. There was food, not a lot of traffic.
And I forgot to take any pictures before we got to the airport, so have some pictures of our less than two hour flight.
Our overnight accomodation during the curfew of the airport is directly at the tram line, making return to the airport easy. Getting food just before midnight proved to be a bigger challenge, considering that our accomodation was focusing on proximity to the airport, not to the city centre, and even the stuff at the airport was already shut. After going through multiple places that were shutting, which spoke varrying degrees of languages that we thought we spoke but weren't so sure about anymore, we did find a Kebab.
Tomorrow will literally just be flights, so I'll probably wrap it up here. Another exciting adventure over. And I will even have one glorious day in which to try and recover from jetlag and everything else before I am expected to be back at work, bright eyed and bushy tailed … oh boy.
