German Food

More relaxation. More family catch up (who knew that after not seeing each other for so many years, that there would be so much to chat about). And this time, the evening dinner happened in what was described to me as a place with "German food". What is German food I hear you ask? Well I'm glad you're as lost as me.

Apparently, it means: Schnitzel, Meat Salad, various types of sausages, but critically: Spätzle. I agreed on that last point. With some gravy, they made good food, regardless of whether they were called German or not.

All of the rain that seems to keep on threatening, decided to finally play catch up. Sitting upstairs at an old castle, eating dinner with a view, the rain was pouring down, and the lightning strikes kept the thunder rolling for an impressive amount of time, while being close enough to cause the earth to shake. Wasn't quite the show I was thinking of but at least they were nice enough to get things back under control by the time we had to head back to the car.
