Port Douglas

We managed to get our second day of bright sunlight today (way overdue). So, in order to properly enjoy the water, we went up to some friends in Port Douglas, currently enjoying their accomodation with a 5 acre pool outside their room. As one of our travel companions pointed out, that wasn't a pool, but a lake.

After enjoying the pools, we got a tip to go to a certain lookout before heading back. We reached it just as the light was disappearing, and as we drove back down, we actually found a far nicer lookout that we suddenly didn't have to share with just a few other people, but a massive grass area containing the entire population of Port Douglas.

Tomorrow is our last day in which we still have a few hours before starting the long way home. Hopefully everything goes smooth. Hopefully work has a warm welcome.
