After somebody's phone kept going off during the night, getting up at 6:30 was really welcome and nice. It only needed two people to get my claws out of the bed and a third to drag me out. But at least the hotel breakfast was very nicely prepared and refreshing, even if we were the only people there.

From there, it went straight to the nature park, in the hope of beating the swarm of tourists. Unfortunately, the buses were already arriving just as we went in, and staying ahead comes a little hard when you're trying to take pictures and when there's also an entrance on the other end. But we saw a whole cascade of waterfalls, and yet more dead calm water. The fish were also hilarious, swimming around the edge of the river, waving their fins in the few water bottlenecks so that they had at least a little exercise.

After being run into by enough tourists, on the narrow board walks with only the river to catch you if you fall, we found a small hiking trail to take us back the long way. Since it had been raining the entire morning up to now, this made for some fun sliding in the dirt, a few puddles gathering in the shoes, and the only way to stay warm was to keep moving. But we did get some fun grass meadows, foggy mysterious forests, and occasional outlooks to the tiny tourists below. Fun, but my feet ended up as ice blocks, and my legs hurt now. But hey, we walked like twice as much as we had walked on any previous day.

The rest went by as a bit of a blur. Feeling cold, in pain, and being completely out of energy, I catered to my needs and kicked up the feet. It is supposed to be a holiday, and the forecast promises far better weather tomorrow. Now we just have to hope that the number of tourists will be slightly lower on a Monday, but somehow I don't feel like I should raise my hopes.
