Strasbourg

Today was a small driving day, including getting to experience my next international crossing (i.e. completely uneventful besides that the street signs no longer made as much sense). What we did get to experience there though was my first taste of "tourists" for the first time in a long time. People walking around speaking three different languages, people trying to sell you stuff, stuffed animals on pokers being paraded around in front of groups, confused crowds. All of those things that you didn't really miss about going somewhere, only to find that 300 other tourists have beaten you to it.

So I dropped off my travel companions and immediately returned back to the safe haven that is the place where the language makes sense. Plus, the evening walks through the fields, soaking in the warmth, are much easier when you're not trapped in the old city with everybody else.

I realise that I'm somewhat lacking in the picture department though. Guess I'm having too much fun calmly thawing, regardless of how much Washinoko is jumping up and down, trying to photobomb at every opportunity.
