Okay, so the hunt didn't take us all the way to the white tips of the mountains, but we did get closer to them. Walking along a river that seemed to every 10 meters have yet another little tiny river joining it from yet another snow melting operation. And what a beautiful colour the water had. There was only one problem with the water. Freshly melted snow shares an important property with snow, they are both too cold to even put your hand into. Froze my paws off at some point trying to use them as a cup to take a drink.

In order to be able to afford tomorrows dinner, we drove to Italy to go shopping in the morning and then also to have dinner. (Still wrapping my head around the concept of traveling internationally to grab some milk and bread.) And as opposed to yesterdays Italian Restaurant, the food was great tonight.

One of us has declared that they have to come back. They don't care if they go with us, someone else, or alone. They have to come back and roll in those views again. We'll see how that affects tomorrows plan.
