Warmth!

It took us the entire day, making our way immediately to the airport after getting up, and arriving at our new accommodation at midnight, but we made it. And I can finally stop having to look like a snowman every time I go outside.

The flight that I was on seemed to have been fairly uneventful. Only very minor bumps (which may have made the queen drop a stitch), and besides that he lady next to me seemed to have been freaking out throughout the entire flight, it was all comfortable. Our other travel companions however get all the entertainment. One flight involved wooing, rejection, alcohol, screaming, and eventually some police officers making themselves known. The other involved a brief zero-g experience and landing by bouncing along the runway.

And some of us are familiar enough with this place that finding our accommodation was really painless. Plus, we finally have another place with a view to enjoy as we listen to the traffic singing us to sleep. We’re currently also consorting our guide for activities but apparently this is a night city, with a lot of things not really willing to be open before 13:00. This sits very well with me and my pillow.
