Wet South End

Today was a bust. We left München and started driving to the southern end of Germany. And as promised, it was wet and cold. Occasionally we got little bit of blue skies which produced an absolutely awe inspiring view over the mountains. Though given that we are still in Bavaria, I have to agree with a statement from one of my travel companions: it's wasted on the locals.

By the time that we reached the southern far end and were able to see some of the Swiss Alps (the parts not covered in clouds), we tried getting out and walking around a little to enjoy the view. But after 5 minutes, and with yet more rain setting in, we decided that this is rubbish and that we wait for double digits before we try again. Here's hoping tomorrow will be less rubbish.
