Berlin

My feet do not appear to have forgiven me for Delft, and while I was able to walk further than yesterday, I now also have two blisters joining my feet. sigh

We went to the zoo which had a rather interesting selection of animals, all usually kept quite apart. To the point of where the same creatures, like two polar bears, were kept apart. Admitidely, there were also signs in the zoo about of creatures that got hurt in some domestic violence and they possibly wanted to prevent further versions of those. Maybe they're all just going crazy. But the in the petting zoo (or rather the goat/sheep peeting zoo), the animals knew exactly where the business end of the treat dispenser machines where.

We basically walked diagonally through the entire city, picking up any landmarks we could find along the way, and enjoy any futher abundance of curry wurst that these tourist hotspots bring. It's kind of nice that inner Belrin is still small enough to walk through most of it and that the only public transport that we needed was for the way back. Partly good as well as the trains are currently sweat traps. As proven by the abundant amount of tissues used purely for wiping away sweat.

Tomorrow we will have to find which places to prioritise before even the short trip of Berlin will be succeeded. Someone mentioned going to Spreepark, an abandoned amusement park from East Germany. Gets a good rating on trip advisor. Unfortunately the recommended method by the comments of trip advisor for visiting is also to sneak past watch dogs and climb under the fence … maybe not.
